Assisted Folding Knives

Assisted folding knives use a small spring to “push” the blade open faster. These knives are opened using a thumb stud or flipper and once the spring engages, they open firmly with the speed of a switchblade while being legal in more locations. They make for great Everyday Carry (EDC) items, allowing for easy one-handed opening and come in a wide variety of blade lengths and styles. OTF (Out The Front) knives are sometimes included in this category.
