A very special piece from Dennis Cook. A traditional D-guard Bowie made from modern day 3/16" 440 C. Dennis has managed to capture the rugged style and durability expected by men of the old west. The guard is made from traditional brass, with a handsome stag handle to fit even the most generous hand. The pommel fitting is also made from high quality brass, hand turned and shaped to snugly secure the handle. Accompanying this attractive piece of history is a handmade leather sheath, which Dennis has adorned with a old western style concho. This sheath carries upright on the belt, and the leather is sealed to protect and elongate the lifetime of the sheath. Blade length is 8 3/4", handle length to tip of pommel is 5 1/4". Retail for this piece is $500.
