Nahuarra is a company established many years ago with the main purpose of marketing handcrafted knives and swords on the Internet. The master bladesmith behind Nahuarra products is Mr. Jose Leon Lepe García, who has been in this trade for more than 40 years. Mr Lepe aquired the knowledge and expertise from his father, who in turn learnt it from his father and so on. Mr. Lepe is now the fourth generation bladesmith of the Family.

The word NAHUARRA means "Knife" in Huichol language, an ancient culture from the central-western part of Mexico that appreciates and performs the Art of Knifemaking.
