One of the best & brightest of the next knifemaking generation is young Dennis Cook of Cook Cutlery. Dennis' designs are in a small way a reflection of himself, honest, straightforward and hardworking. This is one of his first efforts, a wonderful small game / general purpose knife, and the outstanding quality is certainly worthy of a much more experienced knifemaker. This knife is made from 1/8" ATS-34 with an overall length of 7 1/2". The blade is 3" long with a no nonsense non-glare finish and an ultra sharp edge. A thumb and finger rest is provided for positive and safe handling of the knife. This little game knife features an ultra tough black Micarta handle. The Micarta has been sandblasted to really bring out the texture and provide a superior grip, that only improves when wet or bloody. A molded, custom fit Kydex sheath is provided with this knife, featuring the "quick tab" belt loop system which allows the user to remove the sheath without first removing the belt. The sheath is completely water proof and cut resistant, providing both utility and safety.
