This is the model 39, Bird & Trout. Since its creation this model has been popular with campers, hunters, taxidermists, hikers and workers of all kinds. The blade is 2 7/8" with an overall length 6 3/4". The blade has Barry's custom differential heat treat and is 1/8" thick. The handle is made of textured black canvas micarta. This handle provides a sure grip under the most extreme conditions. A molded, custom fit Kydex sheath is provided with each 39. Barry's exclusive split style belt loop allows for attaching or removing the sheath from your belt without having to first remove the belt. The sheath is completely water proof and cut resistant, providing both utility and safety. This model is a must for the working man who wants a knife he can carry anywhere and use for most jobs.
